Picture Perfect is Not A Struggle

Now booking day in the life family photoshoots for expectant parents, adoption stories, surrogate and more in the Dallas – Fort Worth Texas area. Our coordinator is looking for story diversity and photo sessions for the following types of families this fall.

We are looking to take pictures of real family life this fall in Fort Worth.

The session will be entirely narrative/documentary/photojournalistic style and there will be very little posing tips given.


Think family bonding time with documentary, Humans of New York style pictures but taken here in the DFW area.

Parents, children and newborn families as diverse as the international arrivals gate at the airport.


That’s right, ALL FAMILIES with openminded  LGBTQ inclusive attitudes are welcome.


Supermodels not needed, people with unique and distinct features are great! For selected stories, the session fee will be $65 with a minimum order requirement of $180.

So, don’t miss this affordable chance for taking meaningful, memorable family pictures.

If you have one or more young kids we are looking for the age ranges of 2-18 for children. different ages are just an average look, not exact.


Photo Session Casting Call Details

  • Families of three or more between the ages of 26-36
  • Family of 4. i.e. 2 parents, 2 kids
  • Single Parents, 2x KIDS ages 13-15
  • FAMILY #1 PARENT 1, PARENT 2, 3 KIDS ages 6-9
  • FAMILY #2 PARENT 1, PARENT 2, 4 KIDS ages 9-13
  • Kids must be age 5-8.
  • Parent 1 and Parent 2 (age 26-46) with son or daughter (6-9 years old, All ethnicities, Very Natural Looks
  • Warm, outgoing, comfortable on camera parents between the ages mid 30’s to early 40’s – young family. With a child who’s between the ages 3 – 6.


*LOCATION: Dallas – Fort Worth, TX

September 16th / October 13th / November 3rd

September 23rd / October 14th / November 4th



Must be available for one of these key dates for either a “face to face” appointment to meet the photographer or to meet using facetime or another virtual meeting platform.

September 9th / September 30th / October 21st


How to Submit Your Family Story Consideration:



Please write “Day in The Life” in the subject line followed by your Family name and your city. (E.G. Day in The Life – The Jacobson Family – Keller area) via our online form here.



The body of the email MUST INCLUDE the following:

  • Contact Information (your phone & email)
  • Tell us a bit about your family and a brief description of your specific story would be just fine
  • Each family member (s) name(s) and age(s).
  • 2 photos (jpegs preferred) – Family shots Can be taken from a phone. We want to see photos of the families together, where we can clearly see your faces. No hats or sunglasses.
  • Your primary contact information (including phone number)
  • Please mention what day(s) you are available



If you are available for the listed dates and your family fit one of the casting details Submissions are due: Wednesday – September 5th by 11:59PM.

However, the earlier you submit the better your chances!
